Ltd. has grown 50 times from 20 crores to 1000 crores. During this period, our market presence increased from 2 branches to currently 52 branches in West Bengal. A decade of excellence was recognized by P&G through its awards like P&G GOLDEN LEAGUE 2013, P&G OLYMPICS 2012 among many others.
Currently, B G Distributors Pvt Ltd (BGDPL) is the exclusive business associate for Procter & Gamble in West Bengal & Sikkim. BGDPL is the biggest distribution company in Eastern India with a current turnover of INR 1000 crores and growing at double digits every year.
Our biggest asset is a multifunctional team handling major areas like Human Resources, Systems, Logistics, Finance and Capability. The core team is unchanged since inception of B G Distributors Pvt. Ltd. and the combined experience of more than 100 yrs in FMCG sales & marketing.

This function is to ensure that the consumer’s desire to buy the
products of P&G is converted into actual sales by ensuring the
timely, adequate and easy access to all the products and packs in the
maximum number of towns and villages in the country and as many
wholesale and resale outlets. This function comprises of the Sales
Training Leaders, Sales Executives, Merchandisers, Olay BC Organization,
DTC Organization and Delivery boys.
This function has two parts to it:
Takes care of Customer Service work processes, i.e. Total Order Management, Warehousing & Inventory Management and Product
Replenishment in developing their respective business. This function comprises of the Logistics Executive and Officers (Warehouse).
This is the part of the organization that manages the systems software in the organization. It involves the use of information systems, communication systems and decision support technologies to improve and support the business processes for providing superior consumer and customer satisfaction. This function comprises of the Systems Officers (IDSS) and Systems Administrator.
The Finance organization has a leadership role to play in all the activities of the Business, which impact the financial health of the organization. Broadly, they are in the areas of Financial accounting, Financial management and Internal Controls, Tax Management, Budgeting and Control. The functional head is the Distributor Finance Executive and is assisted by the cashier and Asst. DFE.
The Human Resources function strives towards helping build a value based
and efficient organization that would help achieve Business Results.
Its major functional components are Recruitment, Compensation and
Benefits, On-boarding and Training, Organizational and Employee
Development and Office Services. This function is led by the Managing
Director and assisted by Human Resources Executive (DHRE).
